A police officer is shot and seriously wounded by an alien, whom he then shoots and sees disintegrate. A roadblock is set up for the other two in the car that sped off. Investigating, David is brought to the two aliens. They claim that they disagree with their fellow aliens' plan to invade and take over the earth, and that other aliens want to destroy them before they can get back to their planet and make the case against invasion.
